Participate in potential system upgrade projects as Asia Pacific representative, provide feedback and suggestion on behalf of users in the region External Stakeholder Regional OFR Carriers in Asia Pacific Develop and maintain relations with regional ocean freight carriers in Asia Pacific Discuss and initiate actions to solve problem e.g. space or equipment constraint Negotiate competitive rates for FAK, named accounts & surcharges Negotiate demurrage/detention free time & drop off conditions Obtain updated information from ocean carriers on latest rate implementation from the conference Discuss with carriers on latest market situation/change Establish targets with carriers & monitor volume performance Set up space protection with target carriers Ensure regular face-to-face negotiation with carriers conducted at regional level Internal Stakeholder Marketing& Sales Determine pricing for OFR organization in co-operation with M&S Contribute to and co-ordinate information & activities to support the Bid Team’s efforts in securing prospective accounts and managing opportunities GSC Regular meetings to review target, KPI, process and providing guidance to enhance performance Monitor efficiency and estimate required resources for GSC team e.g.
The Senior Director, SID is responsible for the development of strategy and operational delivery for the assigned portfolio in the international (INT) region, with indirect responsibility for regional sales/market share performance for the relevant portfolio/brand(s). The incumbent is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the inline SID CSL brands, along with future product launches (once assets are in the L-36-month time horizon), ensuring that there is a fit for purpose go-to-market strategy for the international region.
